Wildlife & Birds

Alaskan Grizzly Bear digging grubs...the blonde color was spectacular. Bears are not all the common in Alaska unless you get far from the roads. Bear photography should be done with care and a partner! :)

Quail against red rock sand stone in southern Nevada. Quail are common in many areas and can be photographed fairly easily if you're patient.

Big Horn Sheep in red rocks of southern Nevada. Sheep are treat to see in the desert; but they are easier to find if you four-wheel into the back country. See more sheep and wildlife here.

Night Heron in flight Birds like this are common in some areas, but not easy to photograph in flight. I was lukcy to catch this Night Heron bird flying into a tree for a rest.

Bears, quail, sheep and birds are some of my favorites subjects.  I hope to have more photos of wildlife up soon.

While I fully support hunting and fishing, I also love to capture critters on film. One thing about wheeling and photography, it's always important to respect the wildlife and keep a safe distance.

More wildlife images here.
